This has to stop.....Joined Weight Watchers today....

Ok so I know I know...I usually talk about hair... but you can't just have fly hair and everything else be a mess...

So today...let's talk weight. Ok...I am officially over 30 and I am in a happy, healthy relationship. I am assuming that is why I have picked up 10 pounds! SO....what do I do about it?

I joined weight watchers. My goal is to lose at least 20 pounds.
I have a couple of friends that have had very positive weight loss experiences with Weight Watchers. So I am going to give it a try! Wish me luck!

Bravo!! I am in the same mindset right about now...especially with summer approaching. Now if only I can stay focused...

OMG! I've been running my butt off (okay, not really-but SOMEtimes I jog...) to try to get rid of 10 pounds, too. I was 10 POUNDS LIGHTER when I got maried a year and a half ago!!!! :(

I want to get off 10, so I feel your pain-and they are NOT going anywhere!!!! I'm 32 & noticing it's ALOT harder to get them off now....I may do the boot legged version (I have my mom's WW book-lol) Let us know how this works out...ummm...20 pounds, Tonya? Girl please! That's too much! You're TALL! lol

I am 170 pounds! I have NEVER been this big. You remember me from school...I was ALL skin and bones...now I have dimples...everywhere...I am a happy person but DANG! Why does my whole body have to smile? :-)

I was working out...but I have high blood pressure and I would feel faint everytime I worked out. So I tried the bootleg version...LOL and I did ok...but it was hard...so I took the plunge and joined weight watchers at work.

I will definately keep my blog updated with my progress...

Oh and I aint even married yet...YES I am in love and all but what if we get married and I gain even more weight?!?! That would NOT be cute!

WAIT-you JUST took that picture ypu posted! No way!lol-I will leave you alone though...I know how us women get-we see things other people don't. They look at me crazy @ work around here eating fruit all day, so I feel ya! My thing is I haven't had kids-who knows WHAT I'll look like after that AND in my 30s!!! Good lawd. :(

Lady please...you have ALWAYS had a nice figure...and you have recent pics too! So I am not hearing it.

So far so good on WW. I have even learned to make blackened chicken...YUMMY.
Also....Orleans on Front has a MEAN ceasar salad...it is about 5 points or more...but SOOO worth it.

WAIT-WW teaches you how to cook stuff that's healthy too? Maybe it's worth it-I don't get that w/my bootleg version! I checked today and wine is 2 points! I'm hopeless...lol

And I will try that salad! I went to that beauty supply today also..

to take the fat burning into over-drive, short burst of cardio/mixed with strength training will help. Just adding a single pound of muscle will help you burn more calories during the day and at night. It doesn't have to be anything strenuous, just a rotating set of push ups, squats, jump split lunges, and lifting something heavy over your head 15 to 20 pounds). Mix that with just sprinting. Going out in the yard and running as hard as you can for about 10 seconds. Break for about 30 seconds, and then sprint ten seconds again. After about 4 minutes you'll be exhausted but burned roughly the same calories as in a boxing match. Boxing is also exceptional for weight loss and body sculpting. It pulls the fat off. I know, I lost over 70 pounds roughly two years ago, eating right (Monday - Friday) and boxing 3 to 4 times per week.
